Hey friends, I just wanted to thank those who have chosen to share funds to make this possible. I want to remind you that none of this is going to go into my pocket. I make more than enough money. Any funds are always going to go back into this effort to spread good information to build up the church. I'm no longer getting ad revenue from YouTube or Red Circle. If this thing is to be well-funded, it'll be from supporters like you.
So far, we have ten regular givers. I'm inclined to think there are a lot more folks who would feel good about giving $5 or $10 monthly. If you know of anyone who really appreciates what PlainSpoken is about, you might ask them to consider supporting on Locals here. I will keep asking folks to consider giving on my content. Over time, I'm hoping to produce a lot more content for the general benefit of the church, sharing information that helps all local churches thrive. The GMC should only flourish insofar as it benefits local churches. I aim to help it do just that.

Debra Baty is the head of Resources 4 Redemption, which is an effort aimed at spreading good information about sexual orientation and gender identity. She recently published an article about “sexual fluidity” and how it impacts our sanctification in Firebrand Magazine. It is a good piece, and Debra does worthy work. All believers in the West have to contend with the artificial ideas of the sexual revolution. There is nowhere we can go that these issues do not impact us. The only way out is through.
Debra has a personal story that is quite compelling. She is a trustworthy, thoughtful, and conscientious resource. All covenant Christian bodies need to know where they stand on these things, lest the evil one sow confusion. Now is the time to reflect upon these things. Days are coming when what we believe will be put to the test. If we have not prepared, then we cannot expect to prevail.
